The Herd

The Herd is a beaded goods company offering accessories and decor that explore traditional African Craft and Contemporary Design. Specializing primarily in accessories and decor, each piece in their collection features striking Nguni cultural symbols that are derived from the Zulu, Swati and Ndebele tribes. Squares and rectangles are associated with trust, tradition and fairness while circles convey harmony, power, energy and love. Established in 2019 by South African creative Mbali Mthethwa, the brand is based in South Africa and manufactured by Master Beadworkers from the Nguni tribe.
