WAFFLNESNCREAM, popularly known as WAF, is Africa’s first skateboarding brand, pioneering the culture on the continent. Launched in Lagos in 2017, it has grown to weild influence across the Diaspora, the brand seeks to cultivate and connect the Diaspora’s emerging class of skateboarders. Thanks to the company’s eponymous fashion line of simple, sporty separates, -overseen by founder Jomi Marcus Bello- WAF has become a hub for skating enthusiasts - and fashionistas alike. The connection can be seen in WAF’s capsule collection with ALARA, which celebrates both brands and movements with a limited edition African Batik wax print available in select styles.
